Carers Rights Day on Thursday 21 November 2019 - programme
From Carers UK https://www.carersuk.org/news-and-campaigns/carers-rights-day
Each year, Carers Rights Day brings organisations across the UK together to help unpaid carers in their local community know their rights and find out how to get the help and support they are entitled to.
Unpaid carers provide voluntary support to a family or a friend whilst sometimes having to work to support themselves.
Carers Rights Day aims to:
- Make unpaid carers aware of their rights
- Let unpaid carers know where to get help and support
- Raise awareness of the needs of unpaid carers
