Warm and welcome environment provided with stimulating activities and experiences throughout the day. garden for outdoor activities and play. . We sometimes visit other childminders settings for outdoor/indoor play. I have an extensive range of activities in my setting such as; outdoor mud kitchen and reading den, playhouse with play food/play kitchen, sand pit, painting, gluing and sticking, books, Play-doh, bikes/trikes, role play, puzzles, dolls house, black board/white board, music instruments.
Parents to provide all foods, nappies, wipes, clothes etc that your child may need during the day.
Childminder has 2 kittens.

Follow the EYFS which guides where a child should be at age wise, talk with parents, contact appropriate support groups
2: How will I be informed / consulted about the ways in which my child is being supported?
On collection or drop off of child to setting, a meeting if requested and through updates on what’s app or text
3: How will the setting adapt the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum for my child's needs?
Where possible changes will be made to accommodate child's needs when informed by parents or support group about child's development and milestones and any symptoms or changes to observe
4: What teaching strategies does the setting use for children with additional needs or learning difficulties?
If parent informs me of stratifies or advice given by professionals or by parent observations as well as my own observations
5: What additional support does the setting provide for children with additional needs or SEND?
If parent informs me of what would be ideal for the setting to support child with Sen or send
6: How will the setting monitor my child's progress and how will I be involved in this?
I uses babysdays secure online system to record progress then is available for,parents to view and report feedback
7: How do you ensure children with additional needs or SEND can be included in the same activities as other children, including trips?
After discussion with parents incorporate ideas into an activites so any SEND child can join in. Discussion with parents to support child will be important and a requirement in my setting
8: How accessible is the building for children with mobility difficulties / wheelchair users?
No wheelchair access
9: How will you support my child's transition to a new setting or school?
Talk to your child about school, teach child to be independent in regards to taking coat off, recognise own name and possibly even write own name
