The Nutcracker @ Reading Rep, Reading Studio of Dramatic Art, Reading College, Kings Road, Reading, RG1 4HJ

"Join us in Drosselmeyer’s workshop, as the magical Nutcracker brings all the toys to life to fight off the evil Mouse King and his army – and takes us on a magical journey to the Kingdom of Sweets! With original songs, live music, magical puppets and plenty of Christmas tinsel, this adaptation of A.E.Hoffman’s classic story is a festive family spectacular to get you in the spirit of Christmas."

Presented by Reading Between the Lines Theatre Company and South Street Arts Centre.

"Hansel and Gretel were born holding hands, nothing can keep them apart. Until one day they are cast out into the forbidden woods with no way home. Will they ever find one another again?
