Panto by Bob Sturgess. "Join us this Christmas for more panto based fun as we follow Dick Whittington and his faithful Puss in Boots in his attempts to find his fortune. 
On the way we meet three strange wise men, some stranger mystic seers, and even the crew of the Starship Enterprise!! A fun show of jokes, songs and silliness for the whole family this Christmas."

18th - 30th December 2018 ~ A New Coat for Christmas @ Reading Rep, Reading Studio of Dramatic Art, Reading College, Kings Road, Reading, RG1 4HJ

"A New Coat for Christmas is inspired by a true tale of finding friendship in the most surprising circumstances. Following the success of Alby the Penguin Saves Christmas last year, Reading Rep bring this enchanting story to the stage with music, fun and a flock of very fluffy sheep. The perfect festive treat!"

For children aged 3+ years with their families.

Written by Anna Glynn & composed by Robin Colyer. A Reading Rep, Reading Libraries, Oxford Playhouse co-production, in association with Flintlock Theatre. Duration: 1hr with no interval.

10th - 30th December 2018~ A Christmas Carol @ South Street Arts, 21 South Street, Reading RG1 4QU

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, adapted by Anna Wheatley. Presented by Reading Between the Lines Theatre Company and South Street Arts Centre.

"At the annual Office Christmas Party, boss Evelyn remains in a perennially bad mood. Her employees are unbearably cheerful, and no quantity of yule log can shake her from her penny-pinching miserdom. To top it off, over-enthusiastic intern Crystal has adapted ‘A Christmas Carol’ into a play for the party entertainment, but forgotten to cast someone as Scrooge… Can acting out the tale of festive redemption finally bring out the Christmas spirit in the world’s grumpiest boss?...."
