The building is a detached bungalow. People who use the service are provided with a private bedroom; three of those rooms have have washing and toilet facilities, whilst the others have a wash hand basin only. The building has two shower rooms and a bathroom. There is a main lounge, activity room and kitchen.

The Service is in a residential street near to some local shops, and is close to Reading town centre, and public rail and road transport. Parking is available within the grounds of the service.
