West Berkshire Therapy Centre
Power-assisted exercise for adults with physical or sensory disabilities to help restore and maintain mobility and independence.
Covid-19 response and update:
Last updated 09/12/2021
We have 16 specially designed and modified items of power-assisted equipment that provide gentle, repetitive movements to help those with mobility problems to keep mobile and independent.
We maintain our revised layout that ensures 2 metre social distancing throughout, which is vital to protect the health needs of our clients, many of whom are either elderly or consider themselves health-vulnerable.
Clients say how much they apreciate our covid procedures and precautions.
We welcome clients who wish to bring their carers or loved-ones and we make special provision when booking clients with carers so that everyone has sufficient space.
Our Physiotherapist carries out any assessments or reassessments that are needed before clients start to use our service or if returning after a significant absence. Our other staff and volunteers are there to explain and reassure while ensuring everyone exercises as independently as they are able.
