Educational Psychologists

Educational Psychologists work within the education service. They help children or young people who are experiencing problems within an educational setting with the aim of enhancing their learning. Challenges may include social or emotional problems or learning difficulties.

Within the team is the Portage service who provide home visiting training and support to parents of children with additional needs.

The service works with children and young people in early years settings and schools aged up to 16 years. They work in partnership with the SEN Team and schools to support children and young people with special educational needs or a disability.

The Family Information Service provides information on the SEND Local Offer on behalf of Brighter Futures for Children, which is contracted to deliver the SEND/Local Offer service. Brighter Futures For Children - Website
