Pre-event week of activities: Connecting people to local activities
During the week preceding Older People's Day, from 3rd October to 7th October, older people and others will be able to join activities in their local communities.
This may be the opportunity for people who live alone or feel isolated to join others in a safe, environment at least once a week, to share a cake, a drink, a chat, and make friends.
The information flyer has further details on page 2 of when and where those activities are during that week. They are only a small sample of what is actually available in Reading.
