Useful information for soon-to-be and new parents
Regardless of how young or old we are, we all need a bit of help or advice when it comes to having children and bringing them up.

Fairview drop-in sessions for teen parents
A drop-in session for young parents up to the age of 19 is running at Fairview Community Centre (Civitas Academy) Reading on Mondays from 1pm-3pm. The sessions are free, and include toys, books and craft activities for the children, refreshments and of course, the chance to meet other young parents. Young Mums To Be Training Programme;
YMTB-Parents-to-be programme is a comprehensive, holistic course specifically designed for young parents. Young women are keen to attend YMTB as it provides accessible antenatal care. Contact Samantha Ferguson Tel: 07966 801878 for more information on how to join the course.

Breastfeeding Support
Confidential trained support from other mums. Everybody warmly welcomed, siblings and bumps too.  Any stage welcome, just starting, going back to work, weaning....

Children's Centres
