Registering At Your Local Children's Centre

Why register with your local Children’s Centre?

You will be asked to complete a registration form; this may be a small yellow post card size form or our larger green registration form.

The reason we ask you to give us as much information as possible is that we enter your details on our secure data base called estart.

We are then able to offer you services which are aimed at your child’s age or any other special requirement you may have.

We are able to provide the service which meets your needs when we analyse this data.

It also helps us to show how we are performing to OFSTED, Advisory board and the local authority.

What is the purpose of the Children’s Centre?

The purpose of a Children's Centre is to ensure young children get the best start in life and that their families are supported to help them achieve this.

Each Children’s Centre aims to provide services that are suitable for its local community and continuously works on its programme of events and activities in response to the needs of the families that attend and use its services

We are inspected by OFSTED to ensure quality and we all have Advisory Boards to challenge our strategies if needed.
