There are various types of transport available to Reading residents who have special educational needs and/or disabilities. 

This includes council run services as well as private and voluntary sector organisations.

School Transport - Brighter Futures for Children (BFfC)

  • Statutory free transport may be available for Pupils with an Education, Health & Care Plan EHCP (conditional upon placement and need).
  • Pupils with serious medical conditions (with supporting medical evidence from the Community Paediatrician)
