Welcome to Reading’s Local OfferLocal Offer helps you find information about local services, support, activities and events for children and young people aged 0 - 25 years who have special educational needs or disabilities (SEND).

For people who do not have access to the internet, this information can be found in a number of other ways. We offer a 9am-5pm telephone service 0118 9373777 (opt 2) You can also visit us at the Civic Centre.

The Family Information Service provides information on the SEND Local Offer on behalf of Brighter Futures for Children, which is contracted to deliver the SEND/Local Offer service. Brighter Futures For Children - Website

Minister for Children, Young People and Families' Open Letter to the SEND sector in relation to activity during the COVID-19 pandemic - Brighter Futures for Children (BFfC) has received and actioned requests made in the open letter Vicky Ford, Minister for Children, Young People and Families, sent to the SEND sector. 

BFfC is committed to working with key partners including schools, childcare settings and the voluntary sector to ensure the needs of children and young people with SEND are met, and that they and their families are supported throughout this difficult time.
