Juvenile Arthritis - kids get arthritis too!
The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) was founded in 2001 and is the only UK charity specifically devoted to supporting adults and their families living with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and children, young people and their families affected by juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) and the health professionals treating RA and JIA.
How can JIA-at-NRAS help? if you are a parent/carer of a child or young person (under16) who has recently been diagnosed and you have more questions than answers, then please get in touch through email, text or telephone. Our service is free and confidential and for updates on family fun days and, new materials and creative events for children and young people across the UK and Wales drop us an email.
We have a number of information booklets being produced including guidance for schools and parents for students with JIA; these can be downloaded or sent in the post.
