Thatcham Nature Discovery Centre
Opening times
The Nature Discovery Centre is open Tuesday - Sunday, 10am-5pm. This includes the café, shop and outside toilets.
Closed on Mondays except for school holidays when the centre is open seven days a week.
The Nature Discovery Centre, Thatcham is the perfect place for a great day out. Whatever you prefer to do, walk, feed the ducks or play in our adventure playground there's something for everyone. We also have a fantastic cafe serving fresh, homemade food and a gift shop stocking a range of wildlife and nature themed gifts. The centre is situated off Lower Way on the northern side of Thatcham Lake close to Thatcham Reed Beds Local Nature Reserve, and is a partnership between West Berkshire Council, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) and English Nature.
