Eligibility criteria: ASD children aged between 5 and 12 who are verbal, toilet-trained and do not need 1:1 level of care and would benefit from a play setting to encourage their social interaction and motor skills as well as support for parents/ carers
When: 2nd and 4th Saturday every month 10.30am - 12.30pm
Where: The Avenue School, Conwy Close, Tilehurst, Reading, RG30 4BZ
The RAFT Club has been set up to provide support for families of children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder living in Reading. The club employs 6 DBS checked play workers who organise activities for ASD children and their siblings aged 5-12 years.

Your child must have received a formal diagnosis of autism to be able to attend the club. The Committee will decide upon completion of the confidential profile form if you fulfill the criteria and we can meet the needs of your child at RAFT. You will then be invited for a trial visit when spaces become available.
