Mini Maestros
Mini Maestros classes lay a solid foundation of musicianship skills that can grow into learning instruments and joining choirs by school age. The classes are fun and lively music classes involving lots of singing, movement, games and playing simple percussion instruments. Children will learn about real musical instruments and experience live music played by qualified teachers. We build confidence in our young Maestros and support them to form friendships, as well as developing creative, intellectual, physical, social and emotional skills.
Classes are held in Reading at our music centre and The Milestone Centre Caversham during term-time, also at our other music centres around Berkshire. The Reading classes are aimed at children from babies to seven years old.
- Baby Beats (0-18 months)
- Family Beats (18 months - 3 years)
- Beat Keepers (3-4 years)
- Song Keepers (Reception)
- Rhythm Makers (Year 1)
- Music Makers (Year 2)
Mini Maestros of the appropriate age can join the Children's Choir at their local music centre for no additional cost.
