Food & prescriptions – Lockdown service only. Purchase and delivery of frozen ready-meals, food, collection of prescriptions

Family Support Service - Information, advice and advocacy service

Remote service during COVID only, face to face for emergencies only- Otherwise Telephone or Zoom

Day Services - Two services (Mon to Fri, no Tuesdays at St Pauls) over 2 different sites, Alexandra Road and St Paul’s Whitley, currently running on reduced numbers, maximum of 6 service users per site per day, some half days

Welfare service (in place of clubs) - Service of weekly/fortnightly welfare calls, referrals to Family Support if required, delivery of Activity Packs, doorstep/garden chats, weather permitting.

ClubsCurrently all closed but aiming to open BFfC funded Youth Club in January and possibly some others if required by the funder RBC

Reading Mencap provides services and support in the Reading area to children and adults with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders.

Our office is open between 9:30am and 1:30pm. An answerphone is available at other times.

We run a day activity service at two venues in Reading as well as groups and clubs and our Family Support Service, please visit our website for details and a full listing of clubs and activities we run.

Reading Mencap does have a changing places facility for clients and their carers to use.
