Carisbrooke is registered for five adults with severe learning disabilities and associated complex needs. It is ideally situated near local shops and just five minutes away from Caversham village and Reading town centre.
The home has five fully en-suite bedrooms, (three on the ground floor and three on the first floor). On the ground floor there is a separate bathroom, kitchen, dining room, large lounge and conservatory, leading out to a safe secure garden with its own ‘sensory’ summer house.
Individuals living at Carisbrooke all receive a carefully planned transition to support them in their move, individualised 24-hour care within a safe and attractive environment, a bespoke programme of activities to promote ongoing personal development and ongoing psychological input to support emotional and behavioural needs.
The home also has its own transport for leisure, recreational and educational trips and activities in the community.
