Special United Youth Forum - Reading Families' Forum

SEND Youth Forum

Special United has been running for over 2 years. Young people get the chance to meet managers of lots of different services in Reading and tell them what they like and what they want to change., while having fun and enjoying a takeaway. Young people also get a chance to meet the Local Offer team and have a say on what goes on the Local Offer!

Who can take part? Young people with special needs/disabilities, aged 11-25, living in the Reading Borough area. We also welcome siblings of SEND young people to give their perspective. Younger children can attend if they wish.

All young people who take part get a £10 Amazon voucher and a free takeaway! The venue is a quiet space which is wheelchair and powerchair accessible.
