SEND Youth Forum

Special United has been running for over 4 years. Young people get the chance to meet managers of lots of different services in Reading and tell them what they like and what they want to change., while having fun and meeting other young people. Young people also get a chance to meet the Local Offer team and have a say on what goes on the Local Offer!

Who can take part? Young people with special needs/disabilities, aged 8-25, living in the Reading Borough area. We also welcome siblings of SEND young people to give their perspective.

All young people who take part get a £10 Amazon voucher! We are currently meeting online to keep each other safe from Covid

All young people who take part get a £10 Amazon voucher and a free takeaway! The venue is a quiet space which is wheelchair and powerchair accessible.
