Sunlight Homecare Services Limited

Sunlight Homecare Services Ltd was Registered in January 2015 with an aim of providing Support to people living in a ‘supported living’ setting. We are fully registered with CQC and everyone using our services receive a regulated activity, that is, our Service Users are provided with personal care, help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating if this is what their Support Packages entail. Our Service Users are supported so they are able to live as independently as possible. The Supported Living Accommodation we provide ranges from three to six people sharing a tenancy. The Support we provide and housing are provided under separate contractual agreements. 

We also deliver highly-personalized Care to Adults in their own homes throughout Reading, West Berkshire and Oxfordshire areas.  Our care visits rangeS anywhere from 30-minutes to 24-hours, depending on the Service User’s needs and the level of Care requested. We provide both long term and short-term Care to our Service Users which include short term respite Care Services for any Service Users whose regular carers need time to rest.

Our Registered Manager is running our service and has legal responsibility for meeting the requirements in the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and associated Regulations about how the service is run.

The above costs which are negotiable is to cover the Care and Support the Service Users need. We do accept Service Users who would like to pay for their Care and Support through Direct Payments which is a way the Service Users take charge of their Personal Budgets so they can choose, arrange, manage and pay for care and Support they need.

Sunlight Homecare Services Ltd has a policy of promoting the maintenance of Service Users’ normal social network and social activities. The Service User’s Care Plan includes a facility for recording life history, social network and contacts, and preferences for activities and hobbies in order that the Service User is offered access to those networks and activities which are appropriate and desired.
