Local Offer

The Children and Families Act, which comes into effect from 1st September 2014, makes changes to the way in which support is provided to children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND).

Within this, Local Authorities are required to publish a 'Local Offer' which will improve choice for families by providing information about services available to children and young people aged 0-25.

High Close School's contribution is given in the school's 'Local Offer' local offer.pdf which provides, in the form of a Q and A, information about how the school supports children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities.
