SEND Summer Holiday Short Breaks - Make/Sense Theatre Workshops

As an inclusive theatre company, we aim to provide exciting and engaging short breaks for SEND young people with all abilities, including young people with complex/high needs.

Please always give us a call if you aren’t sure if a session is right for your young person. After speaking with you, we will be able to assess how we can best accommodate their access needs to ensure they have a meaningful and fun time with us!

 

Complex Needs/PMLD/PASD/SLD (Profound Autistic Spectrum Disorder)(Severe Learning Disabilities) Engaging workshops for young people with complex needs/PMLD including multi-sensory theatre and live music and singing with the Make/Sense team and sessions with Berkshire Maestros.

Higher Complex Needs - typically aged 5-9

Wednesday 3rd August :10:30 – 12-30 (5 places)

Wednesday 10th August :10:30 – 12-30 (5 places)

Wednesday 17th August :10:30 – 12-30 (5 places)

Wednesday 24th August :10:30 – 12-30 (5 places)

 

Complex Needs – typically ages 10+

Tuesday 2nd August: 1pm – 4pm (8 places)

Tuesday 9th August: 1pm – 4pm (8 places)

Tuesday 16th August: 1pm – 4pm (8 places)

Tuesday 23rd August: 1pm – 4pm (8 places)

 

MLD/ASDFun and inclusive drama and movement workshops for young people with learning disabilities and/or autism

 

MLD/SLD – typically aged 7 - 25

Tuesday 2nd August: 9:30 – 12:30 (15 places) 

Tuesday 9th August: 9:30 – 12:30 (15 places) 

Tuesday 16th August: 9:30 – 12:30 (15 places) 

Tuesday 23rd August: 9:30 – 12:30 (15 places) 

 

If your young person is eligible for free school meals, you can access free sessions from HAF which inclides a free hot lunch. Please gain a code from HAF via their website before booking onto a HAF session. These session are on:
