Concessionary Travel Scheme
A Concessionary Bus Pass based on eligible age is available for Reading Borough residents who have reached state pension age. This pass allows free travel anywhere in the country from 9.30am to 11pm weekdays and anytime on weekends and bank holidays.
An Access Pass for Eligible Disabled is for people who receive disability benefits at the higher rate or a War Pensioners Mobility Supplement, hold a Blue Disabled Parking Badge, are blind or partially sighted, or are profoundly or severely deaf. This pass allows free travel in the Reading area anytime and anywhere in the country from 9.30am to 11pm weekdays and anytime on weekends and bank holidays.
The Access Pass for Eligible Disabled with Companion Entitlement offers free travel for a companion travelling with an eligible disabled person within Reading Borough
