Primary Mental Health Workers

Primary Mental Health Workers work within Brighter Futures for Children's Education Department. They support children and young people where a concern has been identified around mental health issues such as low mood, self-harm, anxiety, challenging behaviour, aggression, attachment difficulties, school phobias and emotion regulation. This might include assessment, time-limited support and counselling.

Primary Mental Health Workers work with children and young people aged between 4 and 18 years, including those with any special educational needs or disability.
