Reading Mencap - Gateway Club

Gateway Club
Activities are decided on by the individuals who attend, via the Gateway Committee; they include indoor activities like cooking, movie nights, art and craft, indoor sports, Wii games as well as activities within the community like pub nights, climbing, bowling and rounders in the park. When funding allows there are special events, like a boat trip and end of term events such as the summer BBQ or Christmas party.
Gateway Club aims to encourage social interaction and independent skills, both at our centre and in the community. The cost is £3 per session.
Gateway Club is a term-time club for adults, which meets every other Tuesday, 7.15pm-9.15pm. The Club is split into two groups, who meet on alternate weeks.
