Basildon Park
Beautiful 18th century Palladian mansion near Pangbourne nestled in 400 acres of rolling parkland.
Lord and Lady Iliffe brought the house back to life in the 1950s when they restored the elegant interiors and made it their home. Hear the grand piano being played in the hall and smell delicious treats being whipped up in the 50s kitchen. The house has starred in Downton Abbey and the 2005 film adaptation of Pride & Prejudice.
Childrens' trails and activities run throughout the year including a busy summer holiday programme.
