The Stronger Together partnership helps unemployed people aged 25 and over, and living in Reading or West Berkshire, who need support to get into work, start a business, or just move closer to either of these goals.
Get support
All of our support is tailored to your needs and interests. Whether you need a confidence boost, a careers plan, advice on benefits, or help finding a volunteering or work placement, we can help. Get support with all of the things which might currently be stopping you from finding work:
- Childcare
- Transport to or from work
- Interview skills and outfits
- Career planning
- Writing CVs and job applications
- Building your confidence
- Searching for jobs
- Training and vocational qualifications
- Accessing benefits
- Improving your English and Maths skills
- Learning English, if it’s not your native language

About Stronger Together
The Stronger Together partnership is made up of 13 local organisations who between us offer a range of services that can help you get into volunteering or work, or to start your own business. We can help to connect you to local networks and contacts, increasing your chances of finding your ideal training, volunteering or employment opportunity.
The Stronger Together Partnership is a Building Better Opportunities project, funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery, through the Big Lottery fund.
