Huntley Place - Extra Care Housing Scheme

New scheme Owned and facilities run by Home Group and Care Support run by London Care.

Opened April 2019

Reading Borough Council has nomination rights to 56 apartments which are a mix of 1 & 2 bedrooms. There are 24 apartments available to buy on a shared ownership and 49 apartments for full ownership.

The Extra Scheme facilities will include:

  •  Reception area with communal seating
  • Hobby room and Multi-function room
  • Activity Timetable plus events through out the year.
  • Catering service with dining room
  • Communal garden
  • Health suite
  • Hairdressing and beauty salon
  • Pop up shops throughout the year
  • Assisted bath
  • Lifts to all levels

Care is available for those who are over 50 and have been assessed as needing support, now or in the future, and can be delivered 24hrs and 7 days a week by one of our qualified staff team from London Care.
