Youth Services (Targeted & Specialist Youth Workers also YOS)

Youth Workers work within the Children's Action Teams (CATs).

The Youth Service provide a range of community-based youth worker activities in a variety of venues, and an exciting range of leisure, recreation and residential experiences to young people. Youth Workers also provide one to one support to young people to improve their life choices/chances and advocate on behalf of young people to promote independence.

The Youth Service works with young people aged 13 - 19 years and their families. If a young person has special educational needs or a disability, youth workers will support those aged between 13 - 25 years.
