Reading FC Community Trust host a series of FUNtastic soccer schools within the local area.

Catering to boys and girls aged 5 to 14 years old, our school holiday based courses are highly popular for children of all abilities. Giving participants the chance to learn the fundamentals of the beautiful game, from professional coaches.  Reading FC Community Trust provide and safe environment for children to learn new skills, improve technique whilst having lots of fun at the same time.  We also offer specific girls only and Goalkeeper specific Soccer Schools.

What will your child learn at a Reading FC Soccer School?

Each soccer school is spilt into a morning and afternoon session. During the morning session the children will work on a specific topics, including Dribbling, Passing, Running with the ball, Shooting, heading, tackling and Goalkeeping. The afternoon session focuses around mini tournaments, where children get the chance to put all skill they have learnt to practice. With 33% of the current Reading FC academy scouted through Community Trust schemes, this is the perfect opportunity for budding footballers to impress our scouts.

The Soccer Schools not only give the children the chance to take part in physical activities during the school holidays, and to spend time practicing their football skills. It also gives them to the opportunity to socialise with friends, and even interact and work together with new people from different schools or football teams.
