Reading Friendship Centre
We are a non-profit social group run by our members, which meets monthly at the newly refurbished annex to the Calcot Centre, Highview, Calcot, RG31 4XD. There’s free parking, or take the 15 bus. Meetings are held on the first Wednesday each month from 2 ‘til 4pm. There’s an annual membership of £5, plus £1 entrance fee (or £2 guest fee) each month.
We have regular guest speakers, singers, musicians, bingo, quizzes, raffles etc aimed mainly at the over 50's, plus coach outings and an annual Members Christmas Party. Tea, coffee & biscuits are available after each meeting, allowing time for members to chat & socialise.
We also hold regular coffee mornings on the second and fourth Friday of each month at the Atrium, Greyfriars Church, 64 Friar Street, Reading, RG11EH from 10:30am, to which admission is free and open to all.
For further information contact Margaret (Membership Secretary) on 07921-665596, John (Chair) on 07506-004511, or just turn up at one of our monthly meetings or coffee mornings.
