Royal Berkshire Hospital - Children's Emergency Department

Paediatric ED see’s children 0-16years of age for treatment of both injuries and illness. We have a dedicated children’s resuscitation bay for care of the critically ill/injured child.

 

The Paediatricians are also based in our department and take referrals direct from GP’s, health visitors, and midwives.

There is Paediatric nurses available 24/7

We have a team of 7 play specialists
