Free Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Training in Berkshire
NHS Frimley ICB is working in partnership with the PBS Cooperative to offer free-to-access online Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) training to families, carers, schools and children’s services across Berkshire.
PBS is recognised as best practice when supporting people with complex needs who present with behaviours that challenge. PBS aims to improve quality of life through proactive measures such as skills teaching, improving the environment around the person and understanding the function of their behaviour. It also teaches ways of supporting someone when they begin to present behaviours that challenge in a non-restrictive, supportive method. For more information on PBS, visit www.pbscooperative.org.uk.
