Parenting Special Children - Mindful Music Workshops

Mindful Music

Listen – Create – Grow

Whole Step CIC and Parenting Special Children are looking to start Mindful Music workshops for young people aged 13-18, who are either adopted, living with Foster Carers or Kinship Carers in Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

Mindful Music helps us recall positive feelings and moments in our lives. These feelings are strengthened through drawing as we listen to music. The aim is to provide a relaxing, creative space to reduce stress and anxiety.

Sessions will be led by a specialist music therapist from Whole Step CIC and a PSC representative. No experience of drawing is needed, and art materials will be provided.

These online sessions are free but booking is essential as spaces are limited. Ticket sales end 1 week before the workshop to allow materials to be posted.

Our next dates are:

Wednesday 1st June, 4.30-6pm.

Wednesday 6th July, 4.30-6pm.
