Sol Joel Park - SEND Play Area
The park, features a sensory trail with play panels, tactile orbs, musical spheres and chimes. The activity area includes a specially designed wheelchair accessible wobbly bridge, wheelchair accessible trampoline and a wheelchair accessible roundabout together with an easy to access double width slide.
The dynamic trail section contains pull-up bars to develop upper body strength and stepping posts to aid balance and co-ordination. Brightly coloured wheelchair accessible picnic benches are also provided around the play area.
The park has been designed to be fully inclusive for all children and will be a great facility for children with special needs and disabilities.
