Workshops for young people: Exploring Reading Festival

This year marks the fiftieth anniversary of the first ever Reading Festival!

Reading Museum and The Museum of English Rural Life are working with The Rock Academy to deliver a series of four workshops, in June and July 2021, exploring the 1971 Reading Festival.

The workshops will enable young people to discover the history of music within Reading through exploring objects in the collection and creating original music and video content to celebrate the Festival's 50th anniversary.
