We help people to improve their mental and physical health in our beautiful garden in East Reading
We help people access the benefits of horticultural therapy at our accessible garden, to enable them to recover and develop their skills, boost their confidence and enjoy time with others.
Our sessions are suitable for those living with disabilities or facing mental and physical health issues. Our sessions are led by experienced horticultural therapists and supported by volunteers.

Our garden, pavilion building and toilets are accessible for those with mobility issues, and we have a range of adapted tools to help make gardening tasks easy for all. We are not able to provide personal care, but clients are welcome to bring carers with them.
The number 19 bus services stop right outside our garden entrance (Mockbeggar stop on Whiteknights Road). We are less than 10 minutes' walk from the number 17 bus service (nearest stop St Peters Road). Many clients arrive by Readibus service. We do not provide transport.

- A session lasts 2 hours. Clients are welcome to bring a packed lunch to eat at the garden after the morning session or before the afternoon session.

Self referral or by Professional. Taster sessions available. Clients usually take part in group sessions, however in some cases 1:1 can be arranged depending on volunteers.
We are not able to provide personal care, although clients are welcome to attend with a carer.

All weather pavilion with accessible toilets and kitchen facilities. Gardens are accessible for those with mobility issues. Raised beds and adapted tools to suit different abilities.
