Duty Health Visitor ~ Reading - Covid 19 response

Important Information About The Health Visiting Service During Covid-19 (April 2020 *Update*) 

FROM THE 14TH APRIL 2020 THERE WILL BE AN EVENING HEALTH VISITING DUTY LINE WHICH WILL BE MANNED FROM 4.30PM TO 8PM WEEKDAYS WHICH CAN BE CONTACTED ON 07771 344503 (during these hours only). THIS IS IN ADDITION TO THE LOCALITY BASED DUTY LINES.

We provide you with practical support and health advice within your community with a focus on families and young children up to the age of five-years-old.

We are here to answer your questions and give advice on all sorts of topics including breast-feeding, sleep, immunisation and teething.

We work in various locations including your family home, children’s centres and GP surgeries.

During the first five years of your child’s life we:
• offer appointments to review your child’s health and progress
• offer advice and support
