Outdoor Academy
As a leading mobile outdoor education specialist in Berkshire, we are committed to providing positive experiences for young people to learn, realise their potential and create lasting memories. We understand the importance of learning outside the classroom and recognise achievement by offering over 50 different accreditations and awards.
We specialise in working with young people aged 6-19 with challenging behaviours, emotional needs and additional learning needs. We have assisted hundreds of young people since 2007 and have made a significant impact on their lives. Our staff are highly experienced and specialise in working with hard-to-reach and vulnerable young people.
Our specialist programmes include a variety of adventurous activities such as mountain biking, kayaking, climbing and wilderness cooking which complement the season. These are delivered throughout the year at inspirational venues in West Berkshire. We also offer transport as part of our service. We will collect students from school or home and drop back at the end of the session, providing a solution to the increasing cost of transport.
Specialist programmes include:
1:1 Intensive Outdoor Programme – intensive provision for young people requiring additional support.
Adventure Learning Programme – weekly sessions through the academic year.
Adventure Development Programme – 6 week course.
