The Weller Centre - Covid 19 response

The Weller Centre, located on the Amersham Road Estate, aims to help anyone in need throughout Caversham with food, clothes, furniture, internet access, printing, and signposting.

We are able to supply families in the RG4 area with basic food packages, both fresh and dry foodstuffs.  Please ask groups or individuals to contact us on 0118 9475828 or email

The Weller Centre are now offering free clothes on Tuesdays and Thursdays (weather permitting), alongside the community bakery starting. Please observe social distancing and handle clothes as little as possible. We will label and space items out as much as we can to make this possible. There will be no where to try clothes on and we request you do not try to outside the centre. You are welcome to take them home for this and return them the following week if not suitable.

Please note our hours are 9am to 4pm Mondays to Fridays.
