The Prince’s Trust in Thames Valley has lots of exciting programmes coming up for young people aged 16 to 30 .

Get Started with Games Design- 16-30s
Interested in online gaming and finding out more about opportunities in the industry? This FREE online course could be for you! You will work with industry professionals to design your own game and find out more about how to pursue your games design goals.
Please note- a laptop or desktop computer is required to access this programme.
When: 3rd-7th July with a Taster Day on the 28th June

Our Development Awards can cover the cost of course fees, tools or equipment to the value of approximately £160 in order to help young people anywhere achieve their goals and move into education, training or employment. For more information, visit our website here or get in touch

Enterprise- 18-30s
Our four-day online programme for young people who are looking to start their business. Receive 1-1 support from our experienced mentors who will support you with turning your business idea into a reality.
When: courses are run regularly, enquire to sign up for the next available Info Sessions 7th June and 28th June.

Steps Into Health & Social Care – 18-30
This tailored and flexible programme is for work-ready candidates wanting to learn about the Health & Social Care sector, roles available, and support accessing them. This style of course will be perfect for candidates who are work ready and might be unable to commit to a full day or week(s) course due to other commitments such as childcare, work, or education. Perhaps they just need some interview help or want to know more about what financial help we offer to support them into their new H&SC job. After registering, interested candidates will go through our initial assessment and then be invited a 2-hour ‘Access’ session where they will learn about the sector, partners we work with, roles available, the skills and employability sessions they can sign up to, and monthly recruitment events with employers and their live vacancies.

Support to sustain 16-30-Year-Olds in their Health & Social Care Roles
Are you a young person aged 16-30 that has just secured a job in the H&SC sector (or do you know one?).
The Prince’s Trust can help support you to sustain your role by offering:
- Financial awards, to help with travel costs, uniform etc.
- Mentoring, to help with goal setting, confidence, and support with your career pathway
- Mental health support through our partnership with MYNDUP
This support is only available if you have been offered a role but have not yet started in post.
