Get Started as a 111 Health Advisor or 999 Emergency Call Taker with South Central Ambulance Service

Our virtual training sessions will help you to learn all about the fantastic role of 111 and 999 call handling and will introduce you to the importance of Patient Care, Confidentiality, Safeguarding, and Equality & Diversity within the Health Service.

Get Started as an Apprentice Associate Ambulance Practitioner with South Central Ambulance Service

 

Our virtual training sessions will help you to learn all about the fantastic role of an Emergency Care Assistant of an Apprentice Associate Ambulance Practitioner. We will introduce you to the importance of Patient Care, Confidentiality, Safeguarding, and Equality & Diversity within the Health Service.

 

AAAP opportunities are in Newbury area only

 

Interested young people MUST have:

  • GCSEs in Maths, English and one other at C/4+ (or equivalent L2 qualifications)
  • A full, UK, manual driving licence
  • Have a C1 provisional allocation on their driving licence BEFORE the course starts (or be happy to start the application process quickly)

Get Started as a Healthcare Support Worker!

 

Want to kickstart your career in healthcare? Becoming a Healthcare Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant is a great place to start!

We can help you apply for roles with many employers across the South East – Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Kent

 

Our 3-day online programme provides insight to the Healthcare Support Worker role, equipping you with vital knowledge about healthcare and the employer, so you can have the best chance at being successful in your application. We advise on CVs, interviews, employability and professionalism, and host employer Q&As.

 

After the programme, we will support you in attending interviews for live roles available near you, and continue supporting you for up to 3 months into a role. You will also have access to a mentor and a mental health & wellbeing service, and you can apply for financial support in some circumstances.

Get Started in NHS Admin

 

This 3 day online programme is designed to upskill and prepare Young People to apply for a role in NHS Admin.

 

Over the course of 3 days, young people will learn all about the values and skills required for an admin based career in the NHS, they’ll gain sector based knowledge, improve employability skills, and hone their interview technique. At the end of the programme, we also support young people to apply for admin roles with NHS Trusts throughout the South East.

Our Development Awards can cover the cost of course fees, tools or equipment to the value of approximately £160 in order to help young people anywhere achieve their goals and move into education, training or employment.
