Ranikhet Rainbows Pre-School

Ofsted Registered Pre-School for two year funded children in Ranikhet Children's Centre.

At Ranikhet Rainbows Pre-School we believe in the benefits of outdoor learning.  Forest School is the place where magic start to happen as imaginations, self-confidence and vocabulary start to grow. It is one of the First Pre-School in Reading to provide Forest School for 2 year funded children.

The child-led sessions allow children the freedom to explore the environment and direct their experience based on their interest and needs.  As educators we have a deep understanding of our children.  With support encouragement and role-modelling from adults children's educational experiences are limited only by their imagination.

We are delighted to inform you; we are embarking on the Accreditation Scheme to become a pre-school which follow 'The Curiosity Approach' we will be the first in Reading. The Curiosity Approach is more than just beautiful play spaces. It's a Modern-Day approach to Early Childhood which takes inspiration from Reggio, Steiner Te Wharika ad a sprinkle of Mosstessori underpinned buy the EYFS.

We provide lots of fun activities which are specially designed for 2 years old to learn through play.  We follow a child interest led approach where we take inspiration for planned activities and resources from observations of the children.  We plan out environment carefully to offer a fun stimulating space where children are free to lead and follow their own play urges.
