Hi, my name is Kayleigh, I am an Ofsted registered childminder with 20years experience looking after children.

I have 3 children of my own aged 8, 11 and 15 years. I also have 3 cats who enjoy being outside or sleeping in the bedrooms upstairs so they aren’t around the children much at all. I’ve also had a puppy since June. He is still training so is supervised at all times. He stays in the kitchen when I’m working and it’s busy.

My aim is to work in partnership with parents and to provide a home-from-home environment, where children can feel safe and secure. Which helps them develop, learn and  grow at their own pace.

I like to be active in the community making the most of our local parks, woodlands, rivers, libraries, toddler groups and indoor centres.

Whilst at home I like to use my creativity to engage the children in arts & crafts as well as messy and sensory play.

We will enjoy books, baking, role play, puzzles and music/singing

I have a large garden which the children can enjoy all year round. The garden has a sandpit, play house, mud kitchen, builders area as well as outdoor toys and ride ones.

During the school holidays I like to plan outings and day trips to the local farms and to different parks just outside of Reading.
