Hello I would like to introduce myself; my name is Victoria Andrews and I am the founder of Chance to Dance Stars CIC, a SEN Dance School. I am contacting you today to introduce our upcoming movement to music course that is starting on Thursday 20th April for 13 weeks. The objective of the course is to explore varies movement and music through dance, zumba and yoga.
We are working in partnership with Fit and wild and ali’s yoga stars to deliver our program. We are successfully running a similar program with younger students aged 4 to 18 years and are now bringing the program to teens and adults with in the Sen community and those who are unable to access education or work.
The course will run every Thursday and we ask you to commit to the full 13 week term. (we have funding to run 3 13 week course over the next year April 2023 to March 2024.)
The sessions are funded by Reading Borough Council so all we are asking for is a £5 contribution per session which will be paid in advance, costing £65.00.
Our program schedule is as followed:
9.45am register
10am to 10.45am yoga
10.45am to 11am Break
11am to 11.45am Dance
11.45am to 12.15pm Lunch (Rainbow Café on site)
12.15pm to 1pm Zumba
1pm home
We encourage you to join us for the day, though if you are only interested in attending parts of the program please contact me to discuss.
If you are able to attend without support we encourage independence though if you feel you need support we would ask a family member or carer to remain on site.
Contact me today to register your interest. Email sendanceclub@hotmail.com or 07736343570
