Becoming Mums - Fairview Support Group
Peer to peer support meeting space, 1st Thursday of the month, all year round at Fairview Community Centre.
This is a space for pregnant and post-natal people to come, with their children of any age, and talk about their experiences with their peers, facilitated by our brilliant team. Everything is totally free, including hot drinks and cake and snacks and toys for children.
We know that safe, non-judgemental spaces with peers have a huge impact on preventing and intervening in the early stages of mental health conditions, on overcoming social isolation and on signposting to the other services that are available.
New meetings also take place at Hexham Road Community Centre, every 3rd Friday of the month starting 17th March at 10am - 12pm.
There is no need to sign up, people can just turn up!
