Session one 10am-1pm 5-7 year olds


Low ropes, Art and crafts, Bird box making, Soft archery, Mini golf 


Session two 2pm to 5pm - Age 8 to 12 years 


Climbing wall, Archery, Mini golf, Fire pit and marshmallow making, Dodgeball

To qualify you need to be a Reading resident and pay your council tax to Reading Borough Council

Spaces are limited for each session, you'll need to register an account at to make a booking

COMPLETE ALL THESE TABS– FOR EACH CHILD (Kindly click on your child/ren name and complete all the tabs)

  • Please list the names of any medication required
  • Dietary requirements *Reminder* Kindly be advised that play rangers will showcase a film during lunch for the children. Should you wish you children not to watch a movie during lunch, kindly insert these comments under the dietary notes.
  • Doctor’s Surgery name, Doctor’s name full address with post code and telephone number

Once you have completed registration to make a booking please follow these steps

  • click start a new booking
  • select from the dropdown 'October Half Term Short Break offer at Prospect Park’ 
  • select child(ren) if in different age groups please do one booking at a time
  • next
  • select relevant session (Session one 10am to 1pm - age 4 years to 8 years / Session two 2pm to 5pm - age 8 years to 12 years)

Follow the next steps and check all details are correct

  • select credit / debit card
  • confirm
  • click to view your booking and follow guidance on how to make payment



Online payments via

Please select Reading Play in both drop down lists and click apply, then find Ranger Station - Prospect Park - Kids club payments follow the instructions on the screen to make payment.

Once you have made a successful payment, please send a copy of the reciept to as we are unable to confirm your booking without this.




Other notes

All children need to bring a packed lunch with them to their session at the Ranger Station, (please no fizzy drinks or peanuts)  

Please ensure that you register to the correct age group and send proof of payment to
