ABC to read (Assisting Berkshire Children) is a local charity that recruits, trains and supports community volunteers to mentor children that struggle to read and lack confidence.  The volunteers provide one to one mentoring within primary schools throughout Reading and due to funding the charity have been able to extend their services to provide workshops to parents in order to give them the confidence to support their children at home.
