Reading u3a

u3a is a UK-wide collection of charities providing activities for retired people to come together and learn for fun, and Reading u3a has members across Reading and beyond. There are interest groups for everyone who has retired. Groups include Languages, Current Affairs, Seated Exercise, Town Study, Chess, Play Reading, Science and Technology, Theatre and lots more, all contributing to u3a’s motto of ‘learn, laugh, live’. Activities are led and taught by our members, for our members. We are a non-profit making, charitable, self-help organisation.
Actvities take place at regular times throughout the month, usually in central Reading although some smaller group meet in members' houses. For further information go to www.readingu3a.org.uk or email membership@readingu3a.org.uk.
