SEND Short Breaks -Chance to Dance Stars CIC - Dance and Multi Activity Program

Short breaks are available for Reading children aged 5 years to 18 years old.
Christmas Holiday Camp 27th and 28th December
We cater for children 5 years to 25 years at all our activities. (discounted short breaks not available for 19-25yrs)
Chance to Dance Stars CIC will provide group activities for children & young people with disabilities to have new experiences with sport and dance, to have fun and to build upon social and physical needs.
*Note* Cost - £20 per day for anyone outside of Reading.
Reading Residents - Session are partial funded by Brighter Futures for Children. You receive a 50% discount only paying £10 per day. Don't forget to enter your discount code: EQN344. Proof of residence will be required in booking.

Activities can vary week by week. We will always ask for your feedback.
Sports, dance, drama, singing, arts and crafts, table top games, zumba kids, generation pound, yoga, gymnastics, sensory and messy play.
We use inclusive instructors to run our activities and very grateful for all their support.

- £20 for anyone living outside Reading. £10 for 4 hours, £15 for 6 hours. Part funded short breaks for Reading Residents 50% discount

We do not need a referral for you to attend. Please enquire as a family.
- Other notes
We cater for all SEND needs including those who require support with hygiene including those who are incontinent or wearing pads. The team are also epilepsy trained and willing to accept student who require emergency medication. Full care plan will be required.
We have limited staffing though can support 2 1:1 each session - as long as they will benefit from the activities on offer.
We accept all young people with any SEND and willing to learn about those we may not have come across.
Our space is big enough to support wheelchair users and those using walking aids.
Our staff are Makaton trained so can support non-verbal students.
We cover Reading and use community centres, though we do have additional holiday camps running in Bracknell.
Many of our students have a diagnosis and some students come from a looked after background. If your child struggles in mainstream please do feel free to come along.
